eclipse-emf-sdk software package provides Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) - (Source/Documentation), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-emf-sdk
eclipse-emf-sdk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-emf-sdk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-emf-sdk *
You will get with eclipse-emf-sdk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
